Can't make the Comedy Bunker gig without cancelling my holiday to Kenya Emotion .Glad about an official release though - are Landmark Entertainment the American company, or is it a British one? I can't find mention of them online.

Couldn't have put it better myself Dan! This is a huge step for getting Paul's music out there to the uninitiated and what most of us have been hoping for Paul for a long, long time. I have yet to meet anyone who works as hard and puts as much of themselves on the line for their music and their fan base as Paul does for, up to now, very little return. Well done and here's to the cd bringing increased numbers to the 'faithful'. Emotion

well you would have thought it was cause for celebration as opposed to \'do we need it\'.i am sure paul would say dont buy it if you have the tunes.it is designed to get wider appeal i would imagine.not forgetting the five track newy thats comin . f**k this guy does his best and you just shoot at him.he deserves so much better after the s**t he must have gone through with the mib. b******s to you pal.go watch the 900th greatest hits stranglers tour...

I think it's great that Paul has got an official release on the cards. And to be fair, he hasn't actually had any other compilations that I can remember!!!! Maybe it's part of a bigger deal? Anyway, its a great way to get the bands music out to a wider audience/market if you ask me! Good on you Mr. R!!!!!

Thank God for that - I thought he'd given up music altogether! Paul, if you're reading this, don't stop - and I don't mean the song. As for the preposterous idea that I would ring Paul up to ask about CDs and gigs, I think that is his and Alex's business - I'm just a fan. I await news like everyone else, and am disappointed when there is nothing on the horizon - I think, again, like everyone else. I would bet Paul is miffed I don't just shut up, so maybe I should!

For the patient Gerry Anderson followers amongst you:

STAND BY FOR ACTION !!!

(As Stingray's Commander Shore famously stated at the beginning of every episode)

Note:

Mr. Roberts has certainly NOT lost interest in the wonderful world of music but has, however, been swamped with various other projects over the last few months... (all will be revealed / updated / basted in hot fat and packaged in a box with fluffy kittens shortly......)

I agree with Chris - this site is becoming a bit of a waste of spae. Since he left the Stranglers Pauls seems to have lost interest in making music - sham really for such a tallented singer/songwriter

If I recall, Paul wrote not that long ago that he was busy doing some acting work and also putting together a few new songs for release later this year. Being a part time actor myself, I know how time consuming it can sometimes be!!! I'm sure Pauls not sitting around just contemplating his naval...
I'm sure we'll all be enlightened soon.... Emotion

Always on my own, you're right. I've never cared though. I want to see Paul do well for himself, and this site is not giving me any clues as to whether that is happening. Can anyone else help me?
